# Service agreement This is a draft written by the build, not by a lawyer. The first line of this file says so, and the readiness check reads that line. Replace this text with the reviewed version, set LAWYER_REVIEWED to yes, raise AGREEMENT_VERSION to 2, and the customer signs the new version. Nothing about an old signature changes: it stays on file against the exact words that were on screen when it was given. ## 1. What we do You are giving us permission to apply for jobs on your behalf. We write and send job applications in your name, to employers you have not spoken to yet, using the facts you give us in this session. We do it every weekday until you tell us to stop. ## 2. What it costs Nothing. There is no fee, now or later, for this period. We are not acting as an employment agency and we take no payment from you or from any employer. ## 3. What you are telling us is true You confirm that the facts you give us are accurate, and that you are responsible for their accuracy. This matters more than any other line here. Every check we run proves that what we send matches your record. No check we run can prove that your record is true. If your resume says something that is not correct, we will send it to an employer in your name. ## 4. Where we will not apply You give us a list of employers we must never contact. It includes your current employer, every employer you have already applied to yourself, and everyone you are talking to now. We check that list three times before each application and we stop rather than guess when a name is unclear. ## 5. How to stop it Reply STOP to any email we send you. Applying halts within one cycle and we email you to confirm that it stopped. You can also tell the person who set this up. You do not have to give a reason and there is no notice period. ## 6. What we hold about you Your resume, your work history, your education, your skills, the stories you tell us, your contact details, and the answers you give to employer forms. It is encrypted, it is separated from every other person's data by the database itself, and it is used for nothing except applying for jobs for you. If you give us the names of references, those are another person's contact details. We hold up to three, we never contact them, and we never put them on a public page. The demographic questions employers ask are optional. The stored answer is "prefer not to say" unless you change it yourself. ## 7. Deleting it Ask, and we delete everything we hold about you and tell you what was deleted. The record of what was already sent to an employer stays, because we cannot retrieve an application an employer has received. ## 8. What we do not collect, ever We never ask for and never store a Social Security number, a Social Insurance number, a tax identifier, a bank or card detail, a driver licence, a passport, any government identity document or its image, or your date of birth. If an employer form demands one, we stop and tell you rather than answer it.
